I like to plan my trip proper. Cos I do not want to be stuck in a rut in some foreign land and trust me when I say a trip is so much better planned. Of course surprises along the way almost never disappoints. :)

After a 16hour flight, we arrived at LAX and took a shuttle to Avis to collect our rental car with GPS. In countries like these, you are much better off driving a vehicle. Afterwhich we drove off to our apartment in Anaheim. A one bedroom apartment with attached kitchen and balcony.

We did not do much on that first day as we were still pretty tired from the flight so we spent the entire day sleeping and tried adjusting to the time difference.

We headed out to Universal Studios the very next day. I was pretty much excited. I mean who wouldnt be right? Its Universal Studios, babyyyy. We got onto the studios tour and they brought us to the sets of War of The Worlds, Desperate's Housewives's Wisteria Lane, etc. The highlight of the day was watching the remake of the show Waterworld. The pyrotechnics, special effects were awesome!
