2009 proved to be such a challenging year be it mentally and physically.

that aside,january two-09 saw me in bangkok with the whole entourage. first-timer as we speak, booked a flight on singapore airlines with to die-for price and leaving two weeks later. then came the few calls to relatives staying in bangkok and lodging was already settled.
such enthusiasm from relatives made our stay much more enjoyable too.

to note, it was a cooling twenty degree in bangkok at that point. perfect.

flight departed slightly in the late noon. but even before we left town, sis had to have her allergies active.

the result of it, a bengkak set of eyes which finally subside almost to the end of trip.

nice food. nice comfortable seats. nice crews. nice company.

upon arriving at suvarnabhumi leceeh airport, aunt sani and uncle lat was happy to welcome us all.home was near but a bumpy ride it was. still, i am not complaining. this trip was just something the whole family need. a break from everything. arriving late at night left us with little time to wander but dinner was waiting upon us arriving. kway-chap was something oh-delicious and it's halal. they have it in singapore but it's difficult to find something certified.

and if you thought dinner was brilliant, breakfast was even better. mango with glutinous rice is a must have on every meal. they have it in pumpkin too. we had toast and coffee/tea and of course more kway-chap. farewell lunch just as nice. rice with much varieties. that mango salad.

since i am running out of ideas to write, i shall leave you with few humble photos of mine.
